The Fingerprints Anniversary Party Madness Continues
Mere words cannot describe how proud we are to be able to host an incredibly rare in-store performance by Ray LaMontagne. Ray has been a favorite since a friend slipped us a disc a couple years ago. There are usually one or two records a year that reach that elusive point in our esteem where we gush. Last year belonged to Ray and his gravelly baritone voice. We gushed to anyone who would listen. This event will be a private party and we will be closing the store for the performance. We will begin free wristband dstribution at 10:00am on Thursday, July 14th, but if you purchase Ray's album Trouble between now and Thursday you can guarantee yourself a spot for what will likely be the in-store of the year. Anyone purchasing the album will also get a copy of our beautiful, Robert Pokorny designed poster (pictured above) which weve been told might even drop into your hot little hands with a signature on it. This is not one to sleep on, Ray is currently playing sold out shows in places like the Wiltern. Okay, gushing over.
As long as you're here, check out a live version of Ray's song Shelter.
Fine print: Limit of 2 wristbands per person, offer valid only in the store (online sales not valid for wristband)
