Music and Art, scarier than chocolate and peanut butter?

Yuppiepunk.com has a great feature on rock stars as artists (which conveniently ties the whole art and rock kick, I seem to be on this week, together). The article includes images, and critiques of said images, by Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, John Mellencamp, Grace Slick, Chris Mars, Jon Langford, David Byrne, Marilyn Manson, Jerry Garcia, Dylan, Robert Smith, Janis Joplin, and a whole slew of others. The above Masterwork (certainly compared to Iggy’s stuff) is by Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane. A couple of these guys could have fallen back on art, but most are lucky they found music (which come to think of it, I guess I am too.)
