Upcoming In-Store: Missy Higgins

MISSY HIGGINS Wednesday, November 16th 1:00pm
We are very happy to announce that Missy Higgins will be returning for a special lunchtime in-store, this Wednesday at 1:00pm. Missy recently swept the Australian ARIA Awards, the Aussie version of the Grammy’s, except they usually reward things like good songwriting as opposed to out-standing imaging and best new album by a sibling of last year’s winner. Missy is a fantastic songwriter, in the vein of Sarah McLachlan or Dido, and her most recent release, The Sound of White, is truly an outstanding debut. Missy has spent a big chunk of this year on the road; she’s currently providing a bright spot for folks attending Liz Phair’s local dates and earlier this year did a stretch opening for Ray La Montagne. We feel extremely lucky to have been able to host Missy once already this year, that she’s agreed to come back, is a real treat. in-stores anywhere.
