Two Great Shows to Announce!

Want to get in early for a hot ticket? Well, here’s your chance:

Jose Gonzalez – March 20 (Hotel Café) , March 21st (Echo)
Jose’s debut, Veneer, is one of the best records of 2005. As far as I know these are still under the radar shows. If you haven’t heard Jose yet, check one of the video links below:

This is one of the best videos ever. Unfortunately, it’s also a commercial. The video and song are both stunning and they work incredibly well together, so try not to let the scent of commerce ruin it for you. The song was originally done by the Swedish band The Knife.

Jose Gonzalez - Stay in the Shade
While not the strongest video of the two, the song is great, and it’s not schlepping a product.

David Gilmore – April 19 (Kodak Theater), April 20 (Universal Ampitheater)
Since the word is it’s gonna be a while before Pink Floyd reunites, these shows move up in status from “wow, that would be cool” to “holy smokes, clear the calendar” status. It seems Dave is doing a 2 week tour to support his upcoming solo album, the first in forever, On An Island. Read more at Billboard.
