Built to Spill on the Comeback Trail

Built to Spill is on the verge of getting it on again:
According to the folks at CMJ.com Built to Spill has finished recording their new album, scheduled to be called You In Reverse, and due in-stores April 11th, the new album will feature the tracks:
01. Goin' Against Your Mind
02. Traces
03. Liar
04. Saturday
05. Wherever You Go
06. Conventional Wisdom
07. Gone
08. Mess With Time
09. Just A Habit
10. The Wait

They are also reporting that Doug (Dug?) and the boys are ready to get back in the van with their new tour slated to kick off at this year’s SXSW festival.

While we were cleaning up the back room we found a couple of old signed posters from the boys. If there is any problem with them, besides a few of them being a bit crinkled on the corners, it’s that they are signed to specific people. So, here is the deal – the first person named Jim and/or Karl who can answer the following question wins. Just hit the email button at the top of the page and send 'er in.

The first track off You in Reverse, “Goin’ Against Your Mind”, is available to stream on the band’s new MySpace page.

Look for upcoming details on a pre-order with a cool bonus disc we found that were left over form their last album, called Sabonis Tracks: It has the tracks: Strange, The Weather, What Goes On (a live version of a Lou Reed song), and The Linus & Lucy Theme (the Vince Guaraldi tune from Charlie Brown). It also includes a sticker. We’ll be launching this when we have more details (like the price).
