Matt Costa -- Instore Review
![]()
Damn. Just back in from the Matt Costa in-store and it was amazing. Apologies to any who weren’t able to join us, the wristbands went faster than we expected, hopefully you were one of the quick acting*. Matt and the boys were on fire tonight, hitting most of the album, a new song and, by request “Lullaby” from the Curious George soundtrack (it was my daughter’s first request, so was an even more special moment, for this proud dad). Matt has come a long way in the past year, since his first fingerprints performance. We were pretty high on Matt from the beginning but after spending most of the past year on tour throughout the world, I have to say it’s impressive how much further along he has come; tighter, more comfortable with the crowd, and still as friendly and humble as he was when the crowd was only a handful of folks in front of the stage. Here is the set list, and for anyone who missed it, but would still like a poster, we’ll include one free for anyone who buys the album Matt Costa - Songs We Sing (click to buy).
Set List: Fingerprints
1. Yellow Taxi
2. Ballad of Ms. Kate
3. Oh Dear
4. Cold December
5. Wash Away
6. Astair
7. Sweet Rose
8. Sweet Thursday
9. Behind the Moon
10. These Arms
Then he went off the set list for a handful more, including Lullaby and Sunshine.
