Bad Brains Video Screening

On Tuesday, September 19th at 6:00pm we will be hosting a video release party for the new Bad Brains DVD "Live @ CBGB - 1982" at Murphy's Pub, upstairs at the Belmont Fitness Club. We will be bringing in some door prizes, offering some special deals on the DVD, and the kind folks at Murphy’s will be offering up some drink specials.

Filmed with the classic line-up at New York's famous CBGB club, this film documents the incendiary early days of the DC music scene, caught live in one of the most important clubs in rock’s history. Bad Brains were legendary for their live shows and until now it’s been near to impossible to find live video footage, this DVD remedies that situation in an extraordinary fashion; filmed over three nights this performance is all high points. We will be presenting this screening on Murphy’s big screen, so come on down, grab a cold one and relive this moment of rock history.
