Fresh off of a tour opening for Ben Harper, the widely acclaimed French songwriter Piers Faccini will be joining us for a special acoustic set. Piers has been called the heir to the slow-sweet pain of Skip James and Leadbelly, his music has its roots in the exiled yearnings of the Mississippi Delta bluesmen, the eloquent melodies of Malian singers Boubacar Traore or Ali Farka Toure, and the haunting songs of English anti-heroes such as John Renbourn and Nick Drake -- and damned if that doesn't work for me. This is one we've been working on for quite some time and we are very happy to invite you to join us.
