Tom Brosseau's in-store was already promising to be a great evening, what with his beautiful blend of dust-bowl folk and his plaintive voice, but things just took a major turn into stratospheric, best night ever territory with the addition of Sparklehorse to the night's festivities. We've been working on a return trip from Mr. Linkous ever since he stopped in to talk about his last album and watch some movies with us, and well... it's happening. If you're a fan of music that has a creaky back-porch vibe to it, that's loaded with texture, and rich with imagery, Sparklehorse has likely already captured a little bit of your heart, too. We always encourage you to check out the musicians who stop in to play here, as we only bring in artists that we love, but if ever we were to push you to step in for something unknown, this would be it. If you know Sparklehorse you probably already know you need to be here, but if not please consider it. This will be a private wristband event, but wristbands are available to emailer readers with no purchase required. Drop in and grab a wristband or call to add your name to our guest list.
