To kick things off for their new record, Roses & Clover, the boys in A.L.O. have agreed to stop by for a little bit of that private party thing we do so well. You see they're busy fellows right about now; Steve has been on the road with Brett Dennen (who the band is heading out on tour with a couple days after our shin-dig), Zach has been busy playing a few festival shows with Jack Johnson (he spends his off time playing Keyboards in Jack's band, and occasionally opening shows for Jack and Dave Matthews with the rest of the A.L.O. guys). Anyway, they've been busy, the new record comes out the same day they're playing for us, then they're off to Frisco for a sold-out headline show at the Fillmore, then off to see the world, starting in Boston. This will be their only LA show
until summer.

This will be a wristband event; wristbands are free when you pre-order Roses & Clover up until April 30th after which they're first come first served (no purchase necessary) for anyone on our email list. Keep in mind pre-orders come with a super-spiffy poster you can get signed at the event.

A bit about the music; funky is the first word, sure, there's a southern fried element, and a bit of a fuzziness tempered with something smooth like early Boz Skaggs, and there is definitely a bit of a beach bonfire groove to the whole thing, but if we were to list the ingredients, like they were a box of cookies, funky would legally have to come first. If you're a fan of infectious tunes that cruise through the classic American soundscape from roots rock to bluesy jazz with a hint of 70s disco this will make your day.
