JOHN VANDERSLICE / LAURA VIERS - Echo

Vanderslice has always seemed a bit to cute and poppy for my taste, that is until I caught him live and was blown away by how well crafted his songs are; this is seriously good stuff. Laura Viers has a major Suzanne Vega thing going on, only fresher sounding and a bit less produced, both of which are good things, in my book.
